Lights Out

by Lu   May 21, 2007

Scented candles dance upon walls
lights out darling
Sing to me a little song sweet love
sonnet perhaps
Sprinkle lilac kisses on silky flesh
breathe my soul
Lay upon a bed of scented passion
taste thy nectar
Moans escape, inner peace found
depths explored
Pleasures found, breathing rapid
heart pounding
Inhaling intensified, exhaling love
soul rejuvenated
Beautiful blessed child conceived
candle flickers
Good-night sweet love, lights out ...

This was a beautiful use of imagery to describe the act of making love. It brought so much romance to the forefront and really spoke of how women wish it to be and to feel. Speaking only for women that is....
What a superb write with such wonderful flow and imagery.
    Great Job,

    Luanne,

This is such a romatic piece and has a very dreamy quality to it. Lovely, one melts into the flow of the words.

    Warmest regards,
