Darkness

Sometimes when i turn around the world doesn't seem to shine,
I want to see the beauty and love of nature out of these eyes of mine,
not a long blink or a continuing sleep that held my gaze
I'd search for light and harmony for days and days
I'd look for an opening, a door, or just a shaft of light
I can no longer bear this darkness and this fight
so I shed my tears through and through
for sit here in darkness is all i can do.

    Your emotions are strong in this poem as well...

    The ryhming was good and the flow was great. The ideas and emotions were strong and I can relate. Sometimes sitting in the darkness is all you can do. Sometimes you'll have to wait. It's sometimes a game. The waiting game, maybe?

    It was a great poem, no matter how short.
