Oh Dear Father

by lish   Jun 3, 2007

I stand there staring at your stiff body
Right there on the floor I cant stop crying.
I told you how much I hated you so
But if I told you that now I'd only be lying.

Please know I'll love you a lot
Whether your in hheavenor here on earth.
Over the years you've been so good to me
But I took you for granted right from birth.

I'll always love you no matter what
Because I really don't give what people say.
They call you fat, lazy and weird
But they never really knew you anyway.

You'd be my dad if my life I do over
I would take away the bad words I've said
The rest of my life I have without you
Because you lay on the cold cement floor dead.
