Change The World

by PoeticJustice   Jun 4, 2007

Turn my words up louder, I have something to say
Think about it, did you do something good today?
Is your life worth living, are you feeling O.K.?
Because im sick and tired of hearing that We shouldnt live this way
You admit the problem, but it doesnt just go away
Make a change today, Fight back for what you think is true
Its the only thing weve got, what else can we do
Cant just keep watching, letting it go on like we have no clue
Think outside the box, its not a concept thats unknown or new
So you, decide not to change the path
Like all we are is living, breathing, pieces of trash
Just sitting here, waiting for another plane to crash
Do the math, drop out rates blown to this sky
And suicide attempts, does anyone even value life?
You cant lie, people are just stuck in their minds
Saying that Someone already took all the good lines
Looking for a great leader, we forget to look inside
So I, Say Its time to change the world
Got a good idea? Let it be known and heard
If you want change, let it start with you
Be the next great leader that we look up to

Your poems conain two catergories at the same time, 1st i think its talk about society then after its inspiring which i think thats is nice, its up to each and every1 of us to make the world better if we see thats it is in a mess as you specify to your last two lines 'if you want change, lets it start with you, be great leader we look for'' yes thats is true. Do say something is wrong if you wont say what is right. Very nice poem
