You think you know me.

Funny and happy on the outside,
told she's crazy everyday.
On the inside she's deep,
with so much to say.

People think they know me,
if only they knew.
I feel and cry,
just like you!

If you tried to get to know me,
and put in an effort.
I'd happily be there for you,
there to comfort.

But don't expect comfort,
if you don't even try.
And don't try too hard,
because I'll only deny.

I know, I sound complicated,
but life is a complicated place.
Maybe if you knew me,
I'd remember your pathetic face.

    Whoa....whoa there! youre too amazing! Im very envious! That poem relates to just about anyone and everyone, thats a tough thing to accomplish! You made it look easy to write so smoothly! I am truly addicted to it...I read it about 4 times! The words...those are...wow..."pathetic" that was my favorite word...it just added something to the poem that made it even more perfect!

    I can totally agree - you know who really cares when you put on a face thats different than who you really are. i love the last line, and the whole thing has good rhythm!
