The Test

Today in school
We have a test
Here it is
The impossible test’s on my desk
These questions are impossible
Why is our teacher so mean?
She knows no one can answer these things!
I can see her now
Giggling over her rottenness
Saying in her head,
“Those little twits have rocks in their heads!”
“A fish has a better chance in a tree, then they do with this test!
One kid is loonier then the next!”

Now I’ll be honest
I’m no good in school
The only A’s in my report card
Are for when I’m absent, not there
I hear the class goes much better
Without me in the class-room
But wouldn’t class be boring,
Without me and my act with the broom?

The teacher’s all hate me
But that’s better I’ll bet
Then being hated by my class-mates
Like the little teacher’s pet

I’m no good in gym
I never ever bring my strip
At first I didn’t see how that was appropriate
‘Till I found out what it meant

I hate these stupid tests
Why are they so hard?
I bet if we gave the teacher one
She’d do just as bad I bet
For teacher’s no nothing about what they teach us
For what we learn is nonsense made up in their head

The cafeteria is a mess
There’s always a food fight
I’m usually the cause
But I’m damn well proud of it

I’m not a bully
I don’t call anybody names
However I do get testy
When I lose at games

I really hate school
But I need the education
Or I’ll never be able to be what I want
And that is all I’m looking forward to when I’m older
To be a rockin’ rolling cowboy astronaut
