The sun won't set

by Xx Chrissi xX   Jun 11, 2007

The sun won't set,
And the moon won't shine,
But who am I,
To moan and whine.

The stars don't twinkle,
Like they did in your eyes,
But I guess that's not really,
So much a surprise.

The clouds don't seem,
To have those silver lines,
That used to always show,
At the end of bad times.

The leaves don't fall,
So graceful no more,
Instead they just seem,
To crash to the floor.

The thunder roars,
And the lightning booms,
And I remain locked up,
In these darkened rooms.

The rain falls hard,
And drenches my soul,
Can't remember the time,
When I last felt whole.

The world seems dull,
As I open my eyes,
With every breath I take,
A part of me dies.
