Bubbly Bubbly Pop Pop Pop!
Bubbles float to the top.

My little sister pokes them all.
I tried to get some, but she made me fall.

Now I am in the tub all wet,
I haven't even been undressed yet!

My clothes have to be hung out to dry.
I'll have to keep a watchful eye.

Mrs. Henderson, who lives next door,
Has two cats, but wait! There is more..

She has a dog who can hardly walk
She has a parrot that likes to talk.

She has a mouse that does back flips
She even has five goldfish with big lips!

Why do I have to watch my clothes, you say?
Well something BIG happened, just the other day..

Do you remember all those animals I told you about?
You might want to sit, for this you might doubt.

I was alone in the back lawn, reading a book.
I heard a noise and took a look.

Mrs. Henderson's two cats were playing in the house
When they knocked over the cage with the mouse.

The cats got scared so they ran to the door,
but they tripped on the dog that was laying on the floor!

Then they went running across the room!
They ran into the parrots cage, and it fell with a BOOM!

The parrot got out and it yelled WATCH OUT!
The cats bumped each other and started to pout.

Mrs. Henderson heard the racket, and came out of her room.
But then she tripped on the kitchen broom.

It knocked over a bottle of cleaner in her tank
And the goldfish swam, as the cleaner sank.

Bubbly Bubbly Pop Pop Pop!
Out came bubbles over the top!

Then it flowed onto our back lawn.
I tried and tried but I could not get it gone!

The bubbles from the tank that the animals made
Got on our laundry and made the colors fade!

That is my story, NO ONE else knows.
That is the reason I watch my clothes.
