Its Over

I'm sitting here once more,
The tears are running now,
I cannot stop this pain,
I do wish I knew how.

I know that you have hurt me,
It's true the cut is deep,
But girl when your in love,
You'll know that you must bleed.

It's hard for me to tell you,
That I loved you from the start,
That I will always be there,
When things get torn apart.

There will always be just you,
Deep inside my heart,
For once you made me happy,
And I though that love would last.

As I sit here shattered,
Broken by your words,
I do not blame you dear,
For you're human and it's our curse.

I will not say a bad thing,
If you hear one, it's not from me,
I know now love don't love me,
But one day you'll be happy.

So as I say goodbye,
To a life that is no more ,
Know that to me your perfect,
And don't worry I hurt no more.

    I've missed your poetry my dear friend
    And to read your work again settles on a void of emotions.
    It's so bittersweet, almost as if you've accepted the end with out a battle yet your still fighting the demons in your heart

    This is a very good sad poem, the emotion in it just reaches out to the reader. I especially loved this stanza because it is so true, we as humans are cursed. We do and say things to hurt people and we just can't help it sometimes. I hope you get through your heartbreak, this girl should have known how lucky she was, but you can't make the blind see. Great job on another great poem! 5/5
