Wishing

by Fireflower   Apr 22, 2004

She sits along the sandy shore,
Wishing there was something more.

No matter where she looks, she cannot find,
Her one true love she left behind.

Though it is only for a short while,
His phone number she longs to dial

She wants him to be there, and give her a hug,
This isn't possible, because she can't confess her love.

She longs for him to be near,
To share a love forever that they could hold dear.

Now along the beach she sits.
To share a sunset with him would seem fit.

Though she'll be with him soon, her emotions soar,
To confess her love, it might take a bit more.
