Paradise

by Fireflower   Apr 22, 2004

Though this place may seem like paradise,
There seems nothing wrong.
Her only love would sufice,
But the distance is quite long.

For her, the palm trees sway in the breeze,
The sunset seems to glow.
For him the trees bear no leavs,
And quite frankly he is sick of the snow.

Is he thinking of her the way she is
Is he thinking of her at all?
Is there another love that is his?
Will he forget her, leave her to fall?

Is this place paradise without her love,
Or is this just a lonely place?
She looks up and sees two doves,
No it isn't paradise, without his beautiful face.
