Something Inside Has Died

Used to be so vibrant, so full of life
Now never seem to have a happy day
Tears pouring free constantly
Nothing ever going my way

Pain eating me up inside
Sorrow clutching at my soul
Remembering a time so long ago
When I wasn't broken but whole

Despair filling up all my hours
Seems I'm depressed all the time
Recalling with a tired sad smile
When happiness was mine

How long will I feel this way?
Lost count of tears I've cried
Finally I'm starting to accept
