Why do I continue to sink into the dirt?
How everything pulls me down further
& Though the only thing I feel is hurt
I'm still trying to appear stronger

Nobody even notices the pain on my face
& The ones that do don't even care
But why would they, I am such a disgrace
Most properly don't even know I'm there

They think I don't hear all the whispers
But I hear every single word they speak
All those painful words still linger
& Makes me even more weak

All I want is for people to accept me
To feel love in this world full of hate
They say what is meant to be, will be
But maybe it is already too late
