Evil Gone Wild

The new moon is coming
what a brilliant light
i stand underneath it
and hold nothing tight

a smirk forms on my face
a dangerous gleam in my eyes
ill find my prey tonight
i will hear his cries

no more tears for me
never again will i bleed
I'm all alone now
i have all that i need

all the words they said
are repeating in my mind
but it doesn't have the same effect
its a pain of a different kind

"you're f u c k i n g insane"
"why don't you just die"
"i could never love you"
"i cant believe you'd lie.."

ah what brilliance it was
for my chains to break free
all those i once feared
are now afraid of me

and the scars i used to cause
that made me who i am
ill now pass on to them
because i don't give a damn

my heart is not of ice
its not broken nor is it pissed
its not hiding anymore
it simply doesn't exist

and with it left the emotions
i care for nothing at all
you're right I'm at the bottom
and no longer can i fall

as i stand over you
and you begin to weep
i think about the story
the one with the evil sheep

he who ate the flowers
that meant so much to the prince
who cried since he lost her
and has been crying ever since

in the stars he lays
don't you remember the tale?
i laugh as you tremble
and your face turns so pale

"y-your eyes" you say
"they're so empty...n-nothing at all"
as your own grow wider
and you pull up to the wall

"why?" you say
and your tears begin to stream
all i can do is smile
as you fight the urge to scream

memories surge
so fresh and so new
of times not too long ago
when i was in the same position as you

no mercy did you show
same as i will give
because sometimes you just need to die
in order to truly live

but deep in that dying part of me
i tell myself its all wrong
this isn't who i was
but it has been much too long

they pushed me
they're the ones to blame
and now theres a perpetual player
whose about to win their game

let them cry and let them shout
i thought as i smiled
and let everyone else feel the demon in me
