Lost in This Feeling

A mistake
no, it wasnt a mistake
it had to be done
she may have come back
gone back to her original self
but it was too hard
songs would spark images
pictures of wrongdoings
and I couldnt stand it
I claim to feel nothing
to be a shadow
or that I am stone
emotionless, unfeeling
but I do cave sometimes
I collapse to pain
she was so much to me
now she shouldnt mean anything
but that is the thing
she does mean something
I feel it sometimes at night
a loneliness
a urge to try to return things
in hopes that things will be better
but no I know I cant
maybe in the years to come
but not now
I know that, I just cant accept that
I tried to forget by starting over
but it didnt work
and now the feeling is doubled
and I who forgot how to feel
am overwhelmed by this
