The Blade is my best friend

The blade that cuts my wrist is my best friend
the only one i can count on to be there at my end
the one that takes away my pain more than once
the one that heel hurting
with just one cut
but one won't do it
lately it is more like 2 or 3
my hole body is consumed by scars
I've made for myself
on my arms
on my thighs
any were you can find
were the blade has scared me
the blade that cuts me is my best friend
the one who is always there with me
when i feel pain and can't deal with it
it is with me all day
and the thing i hold closest to me
the blade that cuts me
is my best friend
the only thing that has been
there when relationships end
the blade that cuts my wrists
is my best friend
the only one i can count on to be there at my end

    Sad and touching. It takes me back a few years and i can really relate to the blatantness of it.
    It makes me feel sad, but nicely written. x
