Cascades Across

by BEHROZE K PATEL   Jul 12, 2007

As the water cascades across the glass
Can barely see through it,
For the world turns more internal
Making it more serene in a long time

A green plant, an ornamental watch
A photo frame, a stuffed cat
With a big bowel filled with tiny crystals
Prettily crowd the window sill

Ears covered with headphones
Fingers taping to soothing music
Feel the most illusive feeling
Almost within grasp in this moment

And as strong rain and wind
Dashes against the glass
Everything and Soul remain
Untouched and unhurt

It’s like no matter what life storms at you…
It always cascades across
The glass of Faith, hope and will
Leaving us safe, happy and at peace.
