Deep Happiness

I lay my head on my pillow,
My eyes feel heavy,
As i fall into a deep sleep,
My head full of thoughts,

A dream appears in the distance,
A bright light blinds me,
I try to cover my eyes,
But i walk toward it,
I think to look down at my feet as a coldness approach me,
My feet walking on pavement,

What is this i ask myself,
I look up slowly and see an old house,
Standing there all alone,
Windows smashed from disrespectful citizens,
Bricks crumbling from poison rain,

As i come within reach of the old mansion,
I could feel a presence of history, sadness and happiness,
I look to my right and notice an aged wooden gate,
I pace myself forward toward it,

My eyes open wide as i turn the corner,
In front of me lies a forest full of beautiful ancient trees,
Colorful flowers,
An enchanted place for peace,

So many memories have been and gone through here,
But somehow lives within it,
I feel so connected with this place,
As if i have been here before,
I feel so blissful so happy,

My legs start to shake,
My heart starts to pound,
My head goes dizzy,

Is this my dream leaving me,
My happiness leaving me,
I gradually wake up from my perfect dream,
My eyes all blurry,
I open them and blinded by the sunlight shining through the curtains,

My first thought,
I now know where my happiness lies,
Deep within my heart,
Deep within my dreams,
Deep within my thoughts.
