Growing love

A wonderful sensation,
a lovely time.
what we did was amazing,
both of the times.

we made love,
not lust.
did you feel the same thing?
along with my trust?

i almost cried,
after the event.
you said it was good,
and off you went.

this might have been an episode,
and it may never happen again.
but baby think of this,
you should always finish what you begin.

if you have a change of heart,
just let me know.
i will be here,
to help make our love grow

    Beautifully written, comes from the heart... it has real emotion, and passion. I'm sorry if this is real, and he just left, but at least you got a good poem out of it! .... it was great... nice to read, overall really good

    Aww this is sad..im sorry if this happened to you....

    the poem though was amazing and i agree with synthetic tears run dry.....the whole couplets thing kinda through the flow off a little for me...but overall good poem.
