Dream

I dreamed i was screaming
gasping for breathe
but no one would help me
as everyone stared

i dreamed of the blue sky
shining red
then i woke up bleeding
on a white bed

the bright lights blinking
one by one.
I felt i was sinking,
i was coming undone

i tried to raise my voice and
try to be heard
but the pain was so relentless
it ate all my words

I could hear thier voices
," he's all out of blood"
i had made choices,
i was all out of love

...

i know i've been stupid
im not gonna hide
im gonna try to reshape it
bring sense to my life

'Cuz i've been given this chance now
and im not gonna abuse it
im outta the trance now
and im gonna prove it.
