The boy who blocked his own shot

Hunched down beside their desks
Scared about whats coming next
Two guys with guns in hand
When they shoot, who knows were they'll land

They are only young, maybe sixteen
This coming, no one would of seen
Threatening to kill and suicide
What went wrong for these boys to decide?

One shot, two shots and three
Twenty people dead, none set free
One boy shoots himself in the head
Laying on the ground dead

The other blocked his own shot
He didn't want to die in this spot
Seeing his friend and the others
Knowing he was one of the killers

    A nice twist of slight irony at the end. That was pretty sad, but I think that you conveyed the story pretty nicely however.

    Great poem, the fact that it speaks about something so touchy, and we know that this can actually happen, gives it a certain fling to it. Um the tone is mature great Job
