His parents hate me
But I love him so
And I'm not about to let him go
We've been through a lot, stuck by each other's side
And I'm not ready to say 'goodbye'
His parents hate me and there's nothing I can do
Maybe it would be better if I said, 'we're through'
I don't want to hurt him
But it's killing me
Why can't they just let us be?
His controlling parents and my broken heart
Are slowly tearing us apart
Why can't they just let us be?
I'm in love with him and he's in love with me
Am I not good enough?
Did I do something wrong?
Maybe they think we've been together too long
It's true, there are other fish in the sea
But what if the one he wants is me?

    Forget his parents...If you guys are in love thats all that matters...His parents will come around...Sooner or later...
