Save me From Myself

by blackheartslove   Aug 2, 2007

Cold metal resting on my skin
Praying for the courage
To press it down
To feel the pain
To watch warm crimson rivers spill over me
To see the tainting stains upon my heart

I want to feel the rush
I need my old distraction
My sweet addictions calling
A broken heart tonight
I’m falling back into the darkness
Someone please save me from myself

Don’t let me see the dark side
I can taste the satisfaction
The wonder at watching the blood flow
The amazement that I’m still feel at all
But I sit not long, again I reach for the blade
Oh, someone save me from myself
