Don't close the door

on the world

don't lose hope again

no matter what goes on

around you

don't allow yourself to give in

don't create a solitude

of self pity

just to become what they are

don't hide behind

a curtain of lies

just so no one sees your scars

take my hand

and come out of the rain

use my shoulder if you need to cry

i know everything

did not go as planned

but don't waste your time with why

don't succumb to

just one persons thoughts

that is credit they do not deserve

and don't hold yourself back

from anything

just because of one curve

but no matter what you

experience

of this you can be certain

i will never turn my

back on you

because we are the same person
