Better Than You.

I am at my lowest point, life is tumbling down.
I decided to give up, call me weak if you'd like.
I am not weak, I am strong for backing down so early.

Won't let it get to far, get to out of hand.
I am better than that, you may not think so.
But I know I am, I am more than what you've made me.

I am someone more than what you've perceived.
You may see me cry, break down every once in a while.
That's just another strength, one of my better ones.

Your words may kick me, get to me when I'm low.
But no matter what, I know where I stand, unlike you.
My life isn't a dream, nor a fairytale. Just real.

All I go through, in the end, only makes me stronger.
At times I may be weak, may give up the fight.
But I go to sleep, knowing I am the bigger person.

I am....better than you....

    Amberr,
    my most favorite line here was:
    "All I go through, in the end, only makes me stronger".
    People usually go through the same things but do not know this or simply can't accept it as a fact. But at this age, you already know it. that's wonderful :)
    I liked its meaning.

    Very good Amber, very good.
    I read it and thought: "I know how she feels"
    It's good to get over someone and know that you are better than they are.
