The Joy

I so very joyous
Overwhelmed with glee
My mind is cleared
And heart set free

I am high on a mountain top
floating in the sky
What I am feeling
Is a natural high

You can see it
Shining within me
Over the hills
and across the sea

I've never been
as happy as this
It's truly complete
and utter bliss

This has destroyed
the hate and despair
For I know
you'll always be there.

This has put me
On my high horse
I feel only joy
No sadness or remorse,

I hope I never
lose this glee
For I am truly happy
and been set free

    I really adore how you put the words all together. This is another one great poem. I really loved every lines and the sway of flow. Another job well done.

    This was a great poem, I liked how the rhymes were flawless, yet the flow was a bit off on the third stanza, but it was still great. I really enjoyed it, great job!
