A Covered Love

I am the one behind the scenes
She fell in love with everyone but me
When everything turns out fine for a start
It crashes in the end and she falls apart
And I am the one who mends her heart

She means so much but she never knew
That she was the one my love was true to
I wrote her notes
Gave her jokes
And covered her in coats
Of love and protection

Every time she fell in love
Inside my heart dug
A hole to hide and feel the pain
As it come in waves and waves of rain
As my heart gets stained

But one thing I know
And it is true
No matter what I'll be there for you.

    Good write. It was quite sad though. Sorry that this girl doesn't realize that she is loved. I started to tear up a little as I read. Very sad, by GREAT!
