Two-Faced

by Noelle Wright   Aug 8, 2007

When the world has turned grey and black
Nothing makes since everything's wack
That's when I need you the most but you never exceed
You leave me in a puddle of depression as my eyes bleed
Don't call yourself a friend because there's no way
A friend wouldn't be full of lies and betray
I told you things and I thought you could be trusted
But the gig is up the show is over and here you are busted
Your mask falls off and I see you other side
Best Friends for ever I guess you lied
If that was forever forever's not that extended
You're a good actor still can't believe you pretended
I'm hurt confused and frustrated
I sit in my room lonely and jaded
Thinking if it even concerns you that I'm torn in two
And all this pain was caused by you
But backstabbers don't feel I guess
Is there nothing behind your chest?
Is there not a conscience behind those eyes?
Or is there just more mischievous lies?
I guess no one really knows
But this is how the story goes
You let someone in and they rob you inside
Leaving you with nothing not even your pride
So to all those girls who think they have a friend
I urge you to reconsider and think again
You never know who your fake friends are
Until they hurt you and leave a scar
So trust no heart only your own
Because you never know which face is theirs or a clone
