All you tell is lies...

by Valiantpenguin   Aug 13, 2007

Feels like the weight of the world
Is on my shoulders
Like the God in heaven
Who I don't believe in
Gave me a turn
Don't cling on my arm
dear sweet boy
I swear that I can't fix you
I'm sitting in the dark
But can you fix me?

It feels like I'm free falling all through life
Like all my work doesn't mean a thing
And nothing I do is good enough
But I pass through life
Like a golden chariot
Passing through the sky

If you really love me
Like you say you do
Then you would let me go
Like you know you should
I won't be kept silent
By the girl I used to be
She means nothing to me now

Feels like the weight of the ocean
Is resting on my knees
Like all the screams for you
Still go unheard
Though they sting my ears
And leave me deaf

I know you don't believe me
When I say I really love you
I guess the truth is hard to believe
When all you tell is lies
