"Eyes"

The look in his eyes,
So filled with regret.
I look back to that moment,
And try to forget

The love in his eyes,
Died and went away.
The tears slide down my cheeks,
I'm lost for words to say.

His eyes glance at me,
As if I've gone insane.
But really he is different,
He isn't the same.

His eyes have filled with hurt,
The way mine always do.
And he still goes on not knowing,
My love has always been true.

Ours eyes meet once more,
As he passes by me today.
So many things to tell him,
But he just looks away.
