Summer Days

Sitting on the front porch,
As the gentle breeze goes through my hair.
I take one deep breathe,
And just begin to stare.

Stare at everything in sight,
From the playful children to the hot sun.
Hoping that this beautiful summer,
Turn out to be full of fun.

This is a time to just relax,
And forget about school.
Clear everything from your mind,
And take a dip in the pool.
