A Painful Mist

Shattered into a millon pieces,
Broken by a loveless fist.
Feelings shut in inside a shell.
Inside the soul a painful mist.

Questions left unanswered,
You don't listen anyway.
Careless, painful, hanging on,
To face the next day.

Unloved soul inside a body,
There's nothing for me to see.
I'm just soaring, waiting to die,
Nothing can fix me.

You can buy me all the things in the world,
Open a million doors.
What you want is already broken,
So take my heart, its yours.
