Adopted

(for kids who have been adopted)

To be adopted may or may not be a happy thing
For you may not know what it brings
You could be the happy girl or boy that i am not
who thinks this world cool and hot
You could be the saddest boy or girl
Who thinks this is a murderous world
For those who are sad
And mad at the mom and dad
I tell you now it cant be that bad
Do you know why you were put up for adoption in the first place
Do you?
Do you know if it would be better with them?
I don't but i question every day
For i am adopted and this is what i say!
