Cheer up

Cheer up

Pointing hungry eyes
aiming to your heart
Wondering continuously
to know your part

Dim lights beckoned
to alert your spirit
and to see the truth
that you're born for it

Lime stones stand
carried by waves
to show confusion
of things we hate

having a self doubt
and to be petrified
to have will and skills
to learn how to fight

    I liked the first three stanzas, but not the fourth. I thought that the sedond stanza was the best of the poem. The fourth stanza really didn't seem to fit to me, it felt too forced.
