Those eyes

by Independence Forever   Sep 10, 2007

Red, dark and foreboding, freezing me in my steps
those eyes, death lingers behind them, on me sets

pain and torment bind me, fear is my only emotion
i cannot sound the alarm, i cannot cause a commotion

those eyes take to a new world of pain, lost in time
stabs, slashes, but worse is his cold repeating rhyme

all during this time death would be too sweet
but his plans are different, thoughts concrete

returning from this death, the will to fight is lost
easily defeated, before those eyes is great cost

those eyes, red like a freshly bloodied wound
feels like ten years out of life's bowl is spooned
