Standing on the edge of the sea
As a storm unfolds before me
The wind gains fury
Rage takes the waves
Darkness taints the sky

Such uncontrollable strength
Such ruthless power
Yet in this calamity
Theres such a calm
A beautiful song to it all
Wind in rhythm with the waves
Stagnant I remain
Mesmerized by whats
Before my eyes

Pulled into this realm
My focused eyes
Realize the beauty
Amongst the ruins
A sweetness in the bitter
