Yesterday

They towed my car today
There was a fine; I had to pay
I had to go to school this morning
Asleep I fell; written up with no warning
Later on I missed the bus
Of course my teacher heard me cuss
I was late for mother's dinner
Her patience was getting thinner
"Young man you're grounded! To your room!"
The words I thought were; doom doom doom
It's time to put myself to bed
I wake from a nightmare to bump my head
Not a great way to start my day
Let's hope it's no worse than yesterday

I think it's an alright poem. It's not one of my best and the syllables don't keep up but I thought it was cute.
