You broke my heart

by Arun Khan   Oct 2, 2007

You broke my heart
Yet I stayed silent
you picked me apart
although I wasn't defiant
left me numb inside
with nothing to give
my fire grew as I cried
as I continued to live
so much was taken from me
and little returned
your alliance was empty
as all my foes withered and burned
I broke them all
You brought me more
Hear my war cry call
My revenge for all you tore

Even as my fists are silenced
I'll still fight
I killed your tyrants
And took your fair by night
Darkness is what you shed upon my mind
You fear me most when I am blind
I'll stay stubborn and break you again
I'll take your brother and make him my friend
All that you took from me
I'll take back tear by tear
And all which you cannot be
I'll make true in your twilight fear
I can't forgive for what you done
How could you do take my every loved one?
When the skies are aflame
I’ll stand above and smile
On your chest I'll write my name
And I'll rip from you, your final trial
Some may call you a loving fate
But I won't rest until you heart is on my plate
