Underneath it all

Behind this laugh
is a frown
behind the happiness
I'm feeling down
behind this grin
is a cry
above the heartbreak
is a lie
pretending each day is great
deep inside each day i hate
each hello holds a goodbye
each "I'm fine" holds a cry
each laugh holds pain
and each smile holds some sane
walking around living a lie
but you wouldn't notice
and this is why i cry
no one to speak too
wanting to confess
but no your all only worried about you
so i live on pretending I'm fine
letting it all go
just slowly wasting time
