Suicide Night

I lay on the bed,
With the gun by my side.
I have no where to run,
No where to hide.

All those things you said,
They were just lies.
I'll show you tonight,
How a sad person dies.

No, I'm not ok,
Tonight as you slumber.
If I was fine,
No one would wonder.

A razor blade glistens,
In light cast by the moon.
More blood will spill,
Tonight, very soon.

I pull the gun to me,
With nothing to spare.
I put my finger on the trigger,
And touch the gun to my hair.

Tonight blood will spill,
Tonight I will die.
No longer can I live,
Beneath this starless sky.
