The Seven Leaf Clover

by Mr Anonymous   Oct 14, 2007

One year ago, and three days exact
I went on a hike,
And brought my friends Jim, Lee, and Pat
We were almost up the highest hill,
When a gust of wind blew off my hat

I started chasing down the hill,
But I saw something unique
Something you wouldn't find
In your backyard or on the street

I saw a patch of clovers,
But there was something in the middle
I eyed it suspiciously,
And called my friends down from the hill

They came down, side by side
Then I showed them my latest find
The Seven Leaf clover, and it was all mine

"What the heck?" Asked Jim
"Where'd you get it"? Demanded Lee
"What are you going to do with it?" said Pat
I thought for a moment, then put it on my hat

And ever since I found that clover,
My life, totally screwed over

It's the unluckiest thing in history
Five seconds after I found it,
A freaking tree landed on Lee

He barely survived,
And then right after that
The hills started talking
They became ALIVE
We all dragged Lee out of further harms way
But what freaking good did that do us,
A bear ended up eating him anyway

After the horrific lost of Lee,
Pat, Jim and I cried ourselves to sleep

And now one year later,
I awoke to a phone-call
To explain to me that
Jim ate some poisonous Tylenol
And then if that wasnt weird enough,
I found out the killer was my friend Pat Snuff

I only just realized,
What was causing all this
That it was my clover
And then I knew if must be destroyed

I tried everything,
Burning it,
Eating it,
Stomping on it,
Running it over,
Choking it,
But nothing worked!

I tried to get rid of it,
But it kept returning
I through it out my window,
And I found it on my counter in the morning

So then I decided,
I knew what must be done
After watching Lord of the Rings,
And so many action/adventure story reruns
That it must be destroyed,
With a magical Sword
Did I start looking for it abroad

But I never did find it,
And to this very day
I live life, in dismay

But I know I will eventually find it
No matter how many demons or Ninja Squirrels are guarding it
Even if it's a great red dragon,
Or simply just a long dark dungeon

I shall find that one Magical Sword
And when I due,
I shall destroy the Clover of which I always rued
