The Flowers Used To Glitter

RIP,, Gez Roades,, 25/12/90-08/09/07

The lights that used to blind us
No longer find source to glow
The flowers that used to glitter
Now can barely manage to grow

Our hearts once beat with a rhythm
But now they are out of tune
There was always a place for you
Now suddenly there's no room

I could say that I miss you darling
Because yes I miss you so much
But to simply use those three words
Would be no where near enough

I need you to tell me you're there
To know you're a phone call away
God stole my prince, my angel
If only he could hear what I had to say

My saviour, my love, my best friend
I love you with every bit of my heart
You've haven't even been gone long
But missing you is tearing me apart

Times goes by but memories stay
Never more than thought's away
No need for words expect to say
Still loved still missed, each passing day
