Death Upon Us All

by Malori   Nov 5, 2007

We've become
Bewildered over the years.
This Holy Spirit who has taught us
The value of fears.
Its a shame.
This government has become a selfish game
Leading us quickly to our graves.

But soon I will tell you,
"I knew it all along"
This is where we belong:
In a world without borders
No guns, no bombs
No worries; no struggles
No battles for power or income
You better run
Once the earth hits that sun
In a shadowy twilight
Into dust and mold we shall become
Then shall your tears fall like evaporated dirt;
Mud on your wealthy clothes
Shit, you thought you were getting old
But this is how our fanally will be
When our curtains finally close
Who will be the blame?
No one.
Simply just that
Its not a matter of statistics
In the end,
Who will care about facts?

That was really good, I can really, truly connect with you, you have a strong mind and opinion, you have a talent, not only for exspressive poetry, but a political mind, and you should really consider going into politics,
and if not, i strongly suggest spreading the word, not only did you get to my head, but my heart, and you have a diffrent way of looking and things, that it's self is a talent.
