Two way mirror

by stillmomsgirl   Nov 8, 2007

She stood staring at her reflection in the mirror
She saw a teen, age fifteen,
trying to get a glimpse of the back of her head
to see if the bun looked alright
She looked again
but this time she rolled up her sleeve
and turned the inside of her arm to face the mirror
She now saw a little girl, scared and alone,
confused, hardly able to keep her composure,
self-destructive, angry with the world and herself
She found it amazing that one little motioncould change the whole picture,
one mistake and she was someone else.

Wow, a very sad emotional writing. It was very powerful and you used a good choice of words. Really Well Done!
