A morbid desire (Shakesperean Sonnet)

by isabel   Nov 14, 2007

Like icy winds, freezing my broken heart
Like cold water, embracing my agony
This is what I mean with "falling apart"
This is what thou would feel, if thou were me
The disgusting taste of my weeping pain
The asphyxiation I have longed for
The bleeding touch of a blade in my vein
I am dying and still waiting for more
The self-destruction has lit the fire
That my scared loneliness hopes and needs
My soul embraced a morbid desire
Weak and alone, all I do is to bleed
Because of thee, all I want is to die
For this love of thee, I shall always cry
