Fading Into Evernight.

by Solus   Nov 18, 2007

Of the lost before you, my haunting words are all you'll see.

Some have proclaimed me morbid, disgusting and weak.

Others have sung lies of friendship and warm embraces.

Few have chanted spells of deep light, calling for my redemption.

Once was I, despite the mists of terror, many things of love and hope.

Now this shadow of the broken, memories of the dark blending into pale hurtful present.

Black fairy tales once believed in. Love, happiness, the good of man.

Music of clashing emotions, the man I was, the creature I am.

Fading into evernight this soul knows of beauty without sin.

Belonging no where, seeking eternal sleep. Of whom could comprehend this lonely mind.

Nothing but rising sadness to offer for your tears shed upon this heart.

Flesh cold enchantments bind the songs so long ago I once hearkened to in life.

Knowing that to wonder with colors shall attract the marks of pain to invade.

This whispered blight, the solus cell. Craven thoughts lost and forgotten still.

    Those are my favorite lines!
Once again, you've caught my attention and my heart strings. (if that makes sense)
Everything you write is like A code that you can only really understand if you've gone through something similar otherwise like MissMasoKissed said, you'd have to sit down and take the time to decipher it.
    5/5
    Keep writing, please!
