The Rose

by Ciao Bella   Nov 22, 2007

The rose represents life in my eyes
it has such beauty
each one is unique
as is each person
the thorns are like speed bumps
they stop you in your tracks
they represent all the bad times
some people have More thorns than others
it means they had a rough life
the leaves may not be pretty
they try to compete with the flower
but they fail
the leaves are the people who are below
the people who think they are not good enough
the people who the world thinks they will never be good enough
someday i hope the leaves and the flowers will be equal
and there will be less thorns to stop people from accomplishing their dreams

I really like the rose and thorn analogy. I have a few quotes on that myself. I do look forward to the day when we can rejoice in the fact that the rose and the leaves become equal. I have faith that it will come =)
