Horrid Nights

by Bhavin   Dec 14, 2007

Dark, horrid nights surround me like a thunder cloud.
They bellow, they lighten and threaten aloud.
Eyes tightly shut, to open I cannot dare.
I hide under my blanket, from the nightmare.

"Aah! It pricks!" I let out silent screams.
As I feel threatened, by my dreams.
Scary stuffs trespass and possess my mind.
I feel sucked in a vacuum, I feel confined.

I whine, I cry, I complain and fall flat.
I fumble and coil around like a blind bat.
But all cries and pleas, fall on deaf ears.
As I get entangled in the web of my fears.

With nobody to help and none to support.
I give up life as a ship leaving ghostly port.
Forgetting those horrid nights, I try returning to reality.
But fail to get rid of the world of insanity.
