I'm sorry that I love you,
As much as I do,
I'm sorry for all the things,
I have ever put you through,

I'm sorry that I'm too old,
For you to take this shot,
I'm sorry that it bothers you,
Because I love you quite a lot,

I'm sorry for the problem,
That I already have some kids,
I'm sorry that I was once married,
And all the things I did.

I'm sorry I can't change that,
I'd give up everything to try,
I'm sorry I tear up at night,
When I sit and wonder, why?

I'm sorry that you can't love me,
As much as I love you,
I'm sorry we can never be together,
I know this much is true.
