Hide our Love

by Noelle Wright   Jan 1, 2008

Our love not welcomed
Our hearts forced to hide
Our love will overcome
this nations useless pride

What is the difference
Our love is just as strong
but we are looked down on
they say it just is just plain wrong
but what right do they have
to take this all away
we dream to be together
forever and a day

We don't fit in the picture
that they force everyone to see
but what does it really matter
i love you and you love me

They tell us to be apart
and to follow the rules not our
heart

They say we are a humiliation
to this great nation
But our hearts are to blame
What does it matter
if our sex is the same?

"This is a poem about gay relationships
I am not gay but i support gay marriage =)"
